We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. This policy applies to content users upload to our Services (primarily Viavva — trip ideas, photos, and journals — Mesavva meal photos and captions, and any photos or notes uploaded to Sanavva). Mesavva's cookbook library stores references to published works (title and page), not their text or images. We respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

Reporting infringement (takedown notice)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent (below) that includes all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed;
3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to locate it (e.g. a link or trip/screen reference);
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email);
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

On receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material promptly and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted it.

Designated Agent

This agent must match the registration in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a counter-notice including: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your contact information; and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for [your district] and to accept service from the person who filed the original notice. We may restore the material as permitted by the DMCA.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
